A man who had been arrested on charges of second-degree criminal sexual conduct and later released from jail under specific conditions fled Milford recently but was later apprehended and arrested by police. Robert Ernest Hagadorn was arrested in April of this year on charges which involved a victim allegedly under 13 years old.
After being taken to jail following his April arrest, Hagadorn was released on bond and subject to certain conditions upon his release which included wearing a GPS tether device. It was discovered that the device had been tampered with on August 7th, which is when investigators learned that Hagadorn had fled Milford allegedly with a female and young child. At the time he fled the area, a note was discovered which indicated Hagadorn may have been heading “up north.” A warrant was issued for his arrest by Oakland County Circuit Court for violation of bond conditions.
Hagadorn was located by police, although news reports stated that it was not revealed where he was found. An email was issued announcing Hagadorn’s arrest by Milford Police Chief Thomas C. Lindberg on Thursday evening, April 16th. He stated that a family member of Hagadorn assisted in locating him.
